Verify PSX Data, Company News & AI Analysis

A source-quality checklist for company filings, news headings, snapshot dates, missing disclosures and AI-generated stock explanations.

Separate a source date from a collection time

The time a tool fetched a page is not necessarily the time the underlying data was published. A recently collected annual report still contains a historical financial period. A refreshed trading panel may show the prior session before a new session has produced trades.

Record the market session, disclosure period and collection timestamp separately. If source groups disagree, explain the difference before comparing figures. A stale label is a freshness warning, not proof that a figure is false. An available label means the tool has an observation, not that the issuer’s information has been independently audited.

A heading is not an article or a full filing

An official announcement heading can tell you a document exists and how it was labeled. It cannot establish all the document’s conditions, quantities or financial impact. Automatic keyword classification is a way to organize headings; it is not an assessment of materiality or sentiment.

Open the original linked notice. Check the issuer, publication date, reporting period and whether later corrections exist. Independent news needs its own trustworthy source and usage permissions. Do not treat an AI paraphrase of a heading as proof that the complete report was read.

Ask AI to explain evidence, not replace it

A useful AI explanation names the source observation, explains the calculation and states what is missing. Fluent language can conceal a guessed number or an unsupported inference, so compare important figures with the engine metrics and official documents.

For example, ask “Which financial period produced this EPS?” or “Is this dividend percentage of par or yield on price?” A clear answer should separate reported facts from derived values. If the necessary field is unavailable, the appropriate response is to say so rather than invent it.

Use a correction workflow

If you find an inconsistency, record the symbol, source URL, publication date and both values. Explain whether the problem is a changed issuer disclosure, a parsing error, a unit conversion or a calculation. This makes the correction reproducible and avoids arguing from screenshots without context.

PSX AI Analyzer links its methods and source coverage so users can inspect the evidence. It remains an educational product of Trend&Brand, with incomplete public-data coverage and fallible AI narration. Better verification improves understanding; it does not convert research into a trading call.
